In my social awareness poster, I focused on mental health. Mental disorders have affected some of my close friends and family, as well as myself. Because of this, I believed I could use my experiences as well as the experiences of others around me to build a poster that would make more people aware that mental disorders are not things that should be stigmatized. I chose a photo of a person standing on a rooftop overlooking a city with a light color theme. I brightened up the scene a bit with a color overlay to make the poster look more positive. Then I included a rainbow to indicate to those with a mental disorder that things will get better. I took color theory and hierarchy into consideration when designing this. The color mode is RGB, the dimensions are 17 x 11 in and the PPI is 150.
